This lovely porcelain hexagon shaped jar has a carved wooden lid and finial, that rests on a carved wooden stand. The stamp on the bottom reads Japanese Porcelain ware Hand Decorated In Hong Kong. The hand decoration is so vibrant and it’s in beautiful condition with the raised color unworn and bright.
I purchased it from Scott’s Antique Market here in Atlanta more than 25 years ago. They said it came from an estate somewhere in Alabama. The exact age is unknown.
